Our Purpose

Advocacy Care provides safe, well-managed semi-independent accommodation for young people preparing to transition into adulthood and community living.

We offer a structured, nurturing environment where young people can build the practical, emotional, and social skills needed for successful independent living.

Our work is grounded in six core values:

At Advocacy Care, our values guide everything we do. They shape our approach to supporting young people, inform our daily practice, and ensure we deliver safe, consistent, and empowering care.

Advocacy

We ensure young people are heard, listened to, and actively involved in decisions that affect their lives. We promote choice, voice, and participation, supporting young people to understand their rights and express their views confidently.

Respect

We treat every young person with dignity, fairness, and understanding. We recognise individuality and lived experience, and we promote respectful relationships built on trust and empathy.

Stability

We provide consistency, structure, and reliability during a key stage of transition. Our homes and support model offer a stable environment where young people can feel secure and focused on their future.

Empowerment

We support young people to build confidence, resilience, and practical life skills. By encouraging responsibility and decision-making, we enable them to take ownership of their journey toward independence.

Safety

Safeguarding is central to everything we do. We prioritise physical safety, emotional wellbeing, and risk awareness, ensuring young people feel protected, supported, and secure in their home and wider community.
